Discuss Cell Supply About Stem Cell Supply

Five steps behind every dose of cells

1 / 5

Compliant sourcing

Cells come from rigorously screened donated umbilical cord and bone marrow, collected and cultured by our partner lab in Canada (cGMP, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified). Shown here: a cross-section of an umbilical cord.

2 / 5

Isolating cells

In a clean environment, mesenchymal stem cells are separated from the tissue to start a primary culture. We also work with local Malaysian universities to culture and expand cells in Malaysia.

3 / 5

Expansion culture

Cells multiply in multi-layer culture flasks. Technicians record cell morphology, count and culture conditions at every passage, and passages are controlled rather than pushed for volume.

4 / 5

Release testing

Every batch is tested before release: viability, surface markers, sterility, mycoplasma and endotoxin. If any test fails, the batch does not leave the lab.

5 / 5

Cold-chain delivery

Fresh live cells reach partner institutions by cold chain, with temperature and timing recorded throughout and the batch test report included.

Quality you can see

For partner institutions, what matters is not what we say but the data that comes with every batch. On the right is a sample batch test report. Open each item to see what it means.

  • Batch traceabilityEvery dose can be traced to its source, passage and test results.

Sample report

The proportion of live cells. The higher the figure, the fresher and healthier the cells you receive.

The three surface markers the International Society for Cell and Gene Therapy (ISCT) uses to confirm"this is truly a mesenchymal stem cell".

Confirms the sample is not mixed with haematopoietic or other cell types, so purity is assured.

Confirms there is no bacterial or fungal contamination, the basic threshold for cells to leave the lab.

Mycoplasma is smaller than bacteria, invisible under an ordinary microscope and does not cloud the culture medium, so it needs a dedicated test.

Endotoxins come from bacterial cell walls and can trigger fever even after bacteria die, so they are controlled separately.

Sample data for layout only. The live site will show the lab’s actual release criteria.

Do you supply frozen or fresh cells?

We mainly supply fresh live cells, delivered to partner institutions by cold chain. Temperature and timing are recorded throughout, and every batch comes with a batch test report.

Where do the cells come from?

Our cells come from rigorously screened donated umbilical cord and bone marrow, collected and cultured by an award-winning partner medical laboratory in Canada that is cGMP compliant and certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. We also work with local Malaysian universities to culture and expand cells in Malaysia.

Which organisations can become partners?

Licensed hospitals and clinics can discuss cell supply; aesthetic and wellness centres can discuss stem-cell-derived skincare and supplements; businesses and investors can discuss cGMP cell lab setup.

What does setting up a cGMP cell lab involve?

It usually covers site selection and feasibility, cleanroom zoning and flow design, equipment selection, standard operating procedures (SOPs), staff training and pre-operation validation. Timelines depend on scale and local approvals; we give a concrete plan after assessment.

Is stem cell therapy suitable for everyone?

No. Every individual client is first assessed by a certified physician for health status and medical history, and therapy is arranged only if suitable. The medical team explains expected outcomes, possible risks and precautions.

Which regions do you serve?

West Malaysia, East Malaysia, Penang, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and China. Cross-border cooperation must comply with local regulations, which we explain during discussions.
